And let the peace of the Messiah, to which you were also called in one body, control your hearts. Be thankful.
Colossians 3:15 (HCSB)
Most people I meet fit into one of two categories: those who are grumblers and complainers or those who are thankful and grateful. Most of us, I believe, find it much easier to be grumblers and complainers. Becoming a thankful person is the result of a long and intentional process. Thankfulness, like most gardens, requires careful and attentive cultivation. But, this cultivation reaps great rewards, as those who are thankful and grateful also seem to be much happier. An attitude of gratitude results in happiness! So, it stands to reason that we should invest in cultivating thankful hearts.
Well how can we change from grumblers and complainers to being more thankful and grateful? I am going to attempt to help myself, while offering encouragement to you. Over the next 30 days I will be posting simple things that you can do for others to show your thankfulness and gratitude. So check back in each day! My prayer is that you will you enjoy this month of Thanksgiving!
